Here Comes Santa Claus...(by Gage)

Santa Claus, who are you? What exactly do you do? My mommy and daddy keep talking about you and even took me to see you Monday night. Mommy kept telling me that I "did better than last year". It seems as though I was terrified of you last year...well, this year, I was still a bit weary of a big guy with a white beard dressed in head to toe in red flannel. But I did say hi to you and tell you that I wanted a horsey for Christmas. Griffin sat on your lap, but I chose to sit on Mommy's lap who sat next to you. But I will say that you were really nice to me and I'm loving the stickers you gave me! I will ask Mommy to post those pictures later. They are pretty good if I do say so myself!

In other news, Mommy and Daddy are all decorated for Christmas. Mommy brought home ornaments for Griffin and me last week. She bought Grif a "Baby's First Christmas"...but mine is a snowman riding a horse! I love it...I keep wanting to take it off the tree and Mommy has to keep reminding me not to...sigh...

In case you can't tell, I'm really into horses these days. I've almost perfected counting 1-10 and I like to sing along with Mommy when she sings ABC's...I hit on a few of the letters. I love the song "Jingle Bells" and I'm learning it too!

Griffin is starting to be more fun these days. He's sitting up now and so we can play toys together. I love making him laugh by playing peek-a-boo with him. He's been sick for about a week now, but seems to be feeling better. Shew...!

Well, I'll leave you with a couple of pics of Griffin and me at our annual Christmas photo shoot and a couple of just me in years past! Enjoy them as I know you will!

Just some new pictures! narrated by Griffin...

Well, here's some new pictures of me and Gage...we are having lots of fun these days as usual. Enjoy!

Here's Gage playing with my Dinosaur...he was actually supposed to be helping me play with it, but he sorta took over:

Here I am in all my total cuteness:

Mommy just kept raving over this pic of "her boys"...I guess we do make a fine looking trio, what do you think?

Me and Mommy were playing in the floor the other night and Daddy was taking pictures without us knowing! I love to kiss all over mommy's face and she likes to kiss all over me too!

And finally, here's a picture of Gage and Dozer. Did you know we even had a dog? I just noticed him a couple of weeks ago, I like to grab his hair. Anyways, I was already in bed when this photo was snapped, looks like Gage is ready for some serious TV watching or something! Oh yeah, Gage is holding his bear, he calls him "B"...must be the world's greatest thing or something. I try to hug him and Gage always takes him from me...I have a bear too, but for now, he stays in my crib.

Trick or treat..smell my feet..by Gage

Friday night I got to get dressed up as a cowboy (yee=haw!) and go from door to door begging for candy! Could it get any better than that? A couple of months ago, mommy started asking me what I wanted to be for Halloween. I just kept saying "wild wild west!" I think my mommy and daddy did a pretty good job putting together an outfit for me...as you can see, Daddy got into the act too...! He's always so much fun! Carter and his mommy and daddy and Sissy came over too, so that was alot of fun too! All the people at all the houses I went to kept telling me how cute I was. You know I didn't mind that! I took being a cowboy very seriously and I love my boots and hat! Griffin stayed at home with Mommy and helped hand out candy to all of the other trick-or treaters. He wore a Jack O-Latern shirt. He was cute. Mommy took alot of pictures, so I'll show you some of them!

Here's me in my cowboy costume!

It took Mommy and Tracey (Carter's mommy) forever to get this shot!

Here's a good picture of Griffin and Sissy (aka Kiersten)...

Pumpkin carving! by Griffin...

As you can see, we all went out to carve pumpkins last night. Well, actually Daddy carved the pumpkins while Gage ran around, Mommy supervised (which she is so good at), and I observed it all from the comfort of my stroller. I personally thought it was a bit on the chilly side and ended up sitting in Mommy's lap. I'm not sure whose idea it was to pose me and Gage like this (probably Mommy's), but as you can see, I wasn't too thrilled with it. It did seem to me that Gage enjoyed the carving of the pumpkins, as he kept running around claiming "two punkins Daddy, two punkins!" He tried his best to get that goop out of the pumpkins, but his little hands just couldn't manuever the shovel well enough. But Mommy and Daddy thought he was cute, nonetheless. After Daddy was done making the scary pumpkin faces, he told Gage they were "Jack O-Laterns" which Gage tried to repeat and again, Mommy and Daddy thought that was funny too. I'm telling you, Gage and I don't have to do much to be cute in their eyes. Well, now the pumpkins are out front, I'm not sure what they are for, but Gage seems to think they are the world's greatest things...here are a few more pictures of the big "event"...
Here I am just chilling out...

I think Gage was trying to eat the goop in this picture:

Gage kept pushing one of the pumpkins over while Mommy was trying to take his picture:

Here's Gage and Daddy with the final products:

Introduction into our world...by Gage and Griffin

First off, my name is Gage. I guess I should introduce myself a bit. I just turned 2 on October 1st and I'm starting to make life so interesting for my mommy and daddy. I have to do that, ya know...just to keep them on their toes. All in all, I'm well-behaved, I just like to test their limits on a daily basis. My mommy stays at home with me and my little brother, Griffin (I'll let him tell you more about himself in a minute). My daddy owns a construction company. I love going to work with him and riding on all the equipment. I like to keep the boys in order by telling them to "DO WORK!" They all love it when I come to visit.

My current insterests are Sesame Street (mostly the star of the show, Elmo), playing with all of my Little People, and going around the house singing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm". My mommy thinks this is just hilarious. Told you I make their life interesting. My favorite food is french fries. I am working on using the potty...another way I like to make life interesting around here. Like I said, I love to keep mommy on her toes...so some days, I will use the potty all day...other days...well, not so much. I really don't like to do numero 2 in the potty either.

Well, that pretty much sums me up for now. Here I am, aren't I totally cute?

Ok, onto me...(me being Griffin...the cute new baby). I was born on May 27th. I am 5 months old and so extra sweet and cuddly. I love for my mommy and daddy to hold me! I can pretty much just look at them and get my way...it's a pretty sweet deal I've got going on! Mommy feeds me and changes my diaper all day. Daddy feeds me my cereal (which I just starting get last week-I'm seriously wondering how I did without it before!) everynight at dinnertime. Mommy always offers to feed it to me, but like I said, I'm cute and Daddy likes to do it.

My current interests are Gage (that kid is super cool, I'm so glad he's my brother), eating, watching Mommy try to entertain me (she is a nut and will do anything to get me to laugh, I usually humor her), and bathtime (Daddy thinks I'm the next Michael Phelps).

Well, here's a picture of me...don't you just want to hug me?
