The story of a pirate ship...I mean...swingset! by Griffin...

So I have a fabulous daddy in case you didn't know...he is actually building Gage and me a swingset/pirate ship to play on! He designed it himself. Mimi saw one in South Carolina and drove us to see it...once Daddy saw it, he knew what Gage and me were going to be playing on! He started on it a couple of Saturdays ago, with the help of Uncle Chase. This Saturday looked like rain, so he didn't get to work on it...but...he's already put a couple of swings up for me and Gage to start using, I told you he was great, didn't I? I will keep you updated on it...I know it will be so much fun!

Here I am swinging yesterday...I love having my picture taken!

And Gage does not:

Look at me go!
Hey, Mommy actually caught Gage smiling...as you can see, he was looking at me!

Both of us, swinging away!

Prayers for another baby...by Mommy

Mommy here, stepping here to ask for prayers for a baby that I don't know personally, but is breaking my heart. I found an incredible blog a few months ago that I'm addicted to reading. It is written by a women close to my age who has 4 children...4, 2 1/2, 18 mos, and 5 mos. old. Shew, I can't even imagine! But she seems like a lovely person, a wonderful mother, and is has a very strong relationship with God.
Last summer, when her sweet baby was still in the womb, she was told he would be stillborn, he had a serious heart condition which caused his heart to beat at 200-300 bpm. Dangerously high! Many people prayed, all over the world for her and her unborn baby. He was born at the end of October, perfectly healed with no signs of any heart problems. She named him Stellan.
Well, fast forward to last weekend, she took him to the ER when he was having a very bad cold. It all went downhill from there...his heart starting acting up again. They have been on a rollercoaster ride since then. He's sick, very sick and even though she trusts God and has many people praying for sweet Stellan, she is losing it. Which, I believe I would have done on day 1 of this horrible ordeal.
As a mother, I cannot even begin to imagine the pain she is in, watching her little infant son lay sick, not knowing whether he will live or die. I remember when my sweet one month old Griffin was hospitalized for a nasty cold for 3 days, I was in tears by day 2. Deciding which tests to do, what Chad and I felt comfortable with.
I know there are many sick babies and children out there and they all need prayers. And I know that only a handful of people read this blog, but I'm hoping you will send out a prayer for baby Stellen, his momma, the rest of the family, and his doctors.
If you want to read more about it, head on over:

Thanks everyone!

Spring fever...by Gage

Shew...I'm so ready for warmer weather! Being stuck in the house all day everyday is starting to get somewhat old! Mommy has been trying her very best to keep me entertained and happy! Here I am playing Starfall with Daddy. It's a website that teaches me my letters. I know many of my letters on sight now!

One day, Mommy let me load up some bath toys in the sink to play! That was fun!

Then there's always the old standby...my little brother Griffin. He's getting more and more fun to play with everyday!

Missed me? Of course you have! by Griffin...

I've just been really busy with important things like learning to crawl:

Yep, it is official...I'm a crawling baby! As of Friday. Mommy thinks it's quite neat that my older brother also began crawling at 8 months, 3 weeks. Before I figured out this way to move, I was just rolling and army scooting everywhere. Right now, my favorite things to crawl after are cords...drives my mommy nuts! But I have to give her something to do, right?

I also got my first tooth sometime in the middle of the night Friday/Saturday. I think the one next to it is working its way out as well, cause I'm sorta cranky today! But then again, Gage has had the sickies, so could he has given them to me?

Another new accomplishment of mine:

Standing while holding onto something-I haven't got the pulling up thing figured out, but I know I will get that soon too!

I can also ride my firetruck now:

And...as if all that isn't enough, I so take down Gage!

Playing in the snow...by Gage

Wow! Two posts in a row by me? Well, I don't mind if I do...

Since it's snowing, I thought I would treat you to some pics of me from a couple of weeks ago when it snowed. Mommy and I went out to play. Don't worry, Griffin was safe and warm taking a nap while Mommy monitored that on the monitor. I had never played in the snow before. And I had to put alot of clothes on before we could go out! Mommy put me in a thermal one piece suit, a long sleeved undershirt, a pair of jeans, a sweatshirt, two pair of socks, mittens, a hat, shoes, and my puffy coat with the hood up! Phew, I'm surprised I could move!

Once we got out there, Mommy kept trying to get me to play in the snow, but I just wanted to play with my toys...I immediately found my soccer ball and tried to kick it around!

I think I did pretty good out there, I only fell one time!

But after my fall and when I started getting too cold, I got a bit grumpy and pleaded with Mommy NOT to take anymore pictures, but did she listen? Heck no, she actually thought my grumpy face was funny enough to take several pictures of...

Some pics! And trip update...by Gage...

Why has it taken me so long to update on our trip? I don't know...but we had soooo much fun! We went to this place called Disneyworld...awesome! The best place for me was Magic Kingdom. I got to ride lots of rides! I even got to ride a real rollercoaster! I rode with Mommy and I laughed so loud! Here's a pic of me on the train: (check out my way green eyes...who would have thought? they were so blue for so long!)

Here's Daddy and Griffin:

Here I am in my Mickey shades:

At Animal Kingdom, I got to meet Goofy, Donald, Minnie, and Mickey!

We also got to swim at the resort and I really liked chasing the geese around that were at the resort...

I was going to post more pics, but that will be have to wait because Mommy says the computer froze up while! Whatever that means...I mean I know it's cold and all...but oh well...I hope these pics will help you get your fix!

Here we go...(by Griffin)

Shew, it's been a busy month around here! Mommy said that Mimi M was patiently waiting for an update and new pics...so Mommy put me in charge of that!
Christmas was great...Gage and I got tons and I mean tons of stuff...Mommy tells us we are very blessed to have so many people that love us so much! Santa was great to us also...I got a really neat singing stage thing and a giraffe rocking thing...Gage got an Elmo restaurant, an Elmo tent-that kid loves him some Elmo, I'm not kidding-and he got a race track too. Mommy says that Santa forgot one of my gifts, a popper thing...so she owes me a gift...! It must have fell off the sleigh or something...
Here are a few pics of our Christmas season!
Here's me and Gage chilling with Jaden in his new wagon:

I think Mommy is going to make Gage tell you about our trip to Orlando tomorrow, cause I'm tired, so for now...here's one more pic of me...notice how I'm up on all fours...I'm trying my best to figure out how to get around!
